I haven't posted anything about what I'm reading yet, because I was slogging through a fantasy book I got at the library, and it wasn't great. I had to finish it, but I wouldn't recommend it! I reserved some books at the library that were listed on the Desperate for a Good Read blog, so I'm looking forward to picking those up. I also got All Quiet on the Western Front since everyone loves that movie (which I haven't seen, but I plan to) and I'll let you know how that reads.

I've put all my newest scrapbooking pages on my web page. You need a password for viewing these. Email me if you'd like to have that!

What's the book you're not liking? Don't want to waste my time on it. Recommendations: Since you've liked the Amelia Peabody books, try Mr. Impossible by Loretta Chase (it's a romance); The Secret History of the Pink Carnation by Lauren Willig (I'm planning to read the rest of the series); I can suggest some historical and paranormal romances, if you're interested.

A Princess of Roumania. It turned out to be the beginning in a series (frustrating) and it was really just very confusing! Thanks for the recommendations! I'm interested in anything you like!
I like Nalini Singh's psy/changeling series, beginning with Slave to Sensation. I liked His Majesty's Dragon by Naomi Novik and intend to read the rest of the series. For historical romance I recently read The Perils of Pleasure by Julie Anne Long, and The Spymaster's Lady by Joanna Bourne and thought they were good. They've both had a lot of good buzz lately. You just have to look past the tacky titles and covers.
